Flight planning software has come a long way in a very short period of time, and there seems to be no limit to the amount of good it can do. In the end, as long as technology continues to advance, piloting an aircraft will continue to be made safer.

which flight computer is easier to use?

the e6b type where the circle slides along a ruler or the circular (jeppesen) type?

can one use either in the UK PPL exams? or only one of them?

reading other websites, i noticed that the CRP computer might have a couple of extra features compared to the E6B. In that case, would appreciate the comparison to be between CRP and Jeppesen. thanks,

In the US an electronic E6B can be used for the PPL written exam. I prefer the Sporty's but I have owned the Jeppesen too. I do not know if the UK has different requirements. A standard circular (Jepp)E6B is always in the flight bag just in case. And I remember how to use it.
