Need a Breath Mint!
Are you the kind who is irritated by the way people back away from you every time you speak, yawn or even smile making you feel like a breathing scarecrow? How about that talkative character seated next to you while riding in that bus , train or any moving vessel to a far destination? The stories are captivating but every time he or she turns around to you, with his mouth wide open you wish there was an immediate strategy to shut him for good yet he or she is thrilling. The only good thing you inherit from this brother and/ or sister is that long live tale to tell about a rotten mouth belonging to a stranger in the bus. Worse still such a person could have discolored teeth that are pleading for a toothbrush leave alone the toothpaste. This amounts to nothing less than a bad breath disaster!!
Can you imagine how your breath would smell like if dental hygiene is like watching a horror movie that leaves you terrified never to look back? Well then you are the kind who just eats and avoids brushing like plague. A piece of advice to those in intimate relationships, every time she/he avoids your kisses don't get confused at all , it could be that your kisses are delicious but your breath is disgusting- check it out! Could be you actually need a dental mint
Bad breath or as it is more formally called, halitosis- affects many people from every walk of life, giving rise to myriad of products that disguise the problem rather than tackling the its underlying causes. More embarrassing than its serious, bad breath is usually temporary- caused by the breakdown of food particles in and around the teeth. Only in very rare cases, however is it a sign of a more serious health problem.
The odor causing- bacteria that multiply inside your mouth helps break down the food particles in and around the teeth hence foul smelling chemicals are released. It thrives in dry conditions and anything that reduces the saliva production can contribute to bad breath. These conditions could include sleep, old age and diets like chewing less food in a day.
If bad breath still persists even after you brush and floss regularly, then probably your back of the tongue is dirty. Bleeding gums (gingivitis) and inflammation of the gums could also contribute. The personal remedies for whiter and fresh breath then try any of the following: 'Spring' clean your mouth that is brush, floss and use a tongue scraper at least after every meal. Chew lots of high fibre enzyme rich fruits and vegetables to replace the animal fat.Ditch the junk food with a lot of sugar since they promote tooth decay.
Avoid the smelly stuff- these include garlic and onions which contain oils that will pass from the blood stream into your lungs and then appear in your breath. Water your body- at least eight glasses of pure water will keep your mouth moist and fresh. Avoid constipation or food poisoning, smoking and off course make a trip to your dentist for regular checkups and cleanings. Also you must pay attention to what you are eating and drinking to keep people from keeping a safe distance whenever they are communicating with you.

I have a 1988 Dept 56 Snowbaby #7956-1, in original box, mint condition.?
I am looking for serious collectors that would like this. I have spent the past couple days trying to find a site to see what it would be worth.. But the only one I found, hasn't been updated since 1999.
Thousands of Dept 56 are offered for sale on eBay. Some sell, some sell for very good money (the truly rare), but the vast majority do not get bids at the price the seller is trying to get. Two of the exact one you have went unsold in the $14-$15 range (combined item price ($5, $7) plus shipping ($9, $8). Shipping costs more than the item.
The sad truth is that 99% of modern, mass produced collectibles are worth far less on the secondary market than the original cost, and the cost of shipping for the buyer means they'll pay even less for the item than they would from somewhere that there is no shipping involved. So you'd make out better selling it to a local collector for $8 than the folks on eBay. Not what you wanted to hear, I'm sure, but it's the reality, especially in this economy. Collectors items are a luxury that many are learning to live without.
