Know About Air Mauritius
Air Mauritius is the official airline of Mauritius. It is a link between this island off the east coast of Africa and the rest of the world. The national carrier has passenger and cargo flights to almost 30 destinations in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East, including some handled by code-sharing partners including Air France. (Code-sharing allows airlines to sell tickets on one another's flights and thus enlarge their networks.) The Air Mauritius has a fleet of approximately a dozen aircraft. The prime carriers of Air Mauritius are Airbus jets. Through a coalition with Air Madagascar, the company handles a cargo-distribution network in about 10 African countries. Air Mauritius began operation in 1967.
Air Mauritius handles passenger traffic if about one million passengers annually. The cargo operation transfers 42,000 tons of freight (cargo operations accounted for one-fifth of revenues). The assorted fleet includes five Airbus A340 aircraft, two A319s, one ATR 72 turboprop, two ATR 42s, and three Bell Ranger helicopters. The Republic of Mauritius holds 51 percent share in the airline. The African Business called Air Mauritius as the "African Airline of the Year" in 2003.
Air Mauritius Ltd. (AM) was set up on June 14, 1967, as a ground handling agent for other airlines. During that time Mauritius was a colony of the United Kingdom; it got its independence in March 1968. The island's economy was basically reliant on sugar. The government had 42.5 percent of the company when it was started; other shareholders were shipping company Rogers & Co. (17.5 percent), British Airways and Air France (15 percent each), and Air-India (10 percent)

Anyone eject from an aircraft?
I am especially interested in those ejected with Martin-Baker.
Only person I met that used one was John McCain. Ejections usually injure But better than dying.
I "ejected" from an "airplane" once.
Actually it was a ACESII ejection seat in a mock f-16 cockpit.
It would propel you about 6 feet high with the same acceleration/G-force as the real one.
HURT LIKE FREAKING HELL!!!!!!
but it was worth it.
I'm proud to say I survived an almost real ACES II ejection with no injuries (neck most common). Yay!
